A Podcast is Born

In the spring of 2021, on a daddy-daughter camping trip in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I realized I was in my happy place.  My daughter and I agreed that people who have never been camping before are missing out.  Laying in our tent one afternoon, we talked about how cool it would be to inspire those people to give it a try.  How many people could we reach?  How many people could we inspire to get outside to sleep in the wild?

We left that dream there in the Outer Banks.  A few months later, we had an “awe” experience watching the sunset while camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota.  We were reminded of our dream from the Outer Banks and the idea for this podcast was born.

How do you inspire people to answer the call to adventure?  One way is to tell stories of those who have gone before them.  We hope that the stories shared by our guests will inspire you to follow your call to get outside and find adventure.
